📸 Workflow Essentials for Culinary Photographers 📸

Podcast Interview with Great Big Photography World - GBPW

This interview was a lot of fun!

In the bustling environment of New York City, efficiency is key for any food photographer. My workflow starts with organizing images in Capture One, where I rank them based on their readiness. This step helps me quickly identify the best shots and focus my efforts on those. Only about 10% of my photos need further editing in Photoshop, which saves a significant amount of time. This streamlined process ensures that I deliver high-quality images swiftly, whether it's for a restaurant's social media or a culinary magazine.

Having a consistent workflow is crucial for maintaining productivity and ensuring high standards in your culinary photography. Develop a routine that works for you, from importing and organizing images to final editing and delivery. Utilize software tools that enhance your efficiency and help manage your workload effectively. By refining your workflow, you can handle larger volumes of work without compromising on quality, ultimately benefiting both you and your clients.
